Gift Certificates are always available!

Riding instruction is available for you and your horse at Hideaway Hill Farm or at your facility.  Instruction is also available for beginner level and up riders on a horse owned by Hideaway Hill Farm.  I take a slow and patient approach and tailor a training program specific to the needs of each horse and rider.  Horses and riders do not learn how to function in just the arena, but also outside the arena and on the trail.  I also introduce basic obstacles when the horse and rider are ready.  I use a combination of natural horsemanship techniques and basic dressage, which is suitable for any discipline of riding.  I have nearly 30 years of experience working with a variety of breeds and several different disciplines, but I do specialize in lower level dressage and hunters.  I also specialize in helping nervous horses or nervous riders to build confidence.  For more information or to set up a lesson appointment, please call (610) 285-4576.

Trailer-ins must have a negative Coggins.

We also offer horsemanship classes for the new or prosepective horse owner!  These classes are offered here at HHF for a low cost and are for groups of 1-4 people.  These are non-riding classes, but rather an introduction into horses, horse handling from the ground, basic horse care requirements, etc.  Classes are two hours and cost only $50.00 regardless of number of people!  If your family is thinking of getting into horses, I highly recommend this unique opportunity to learn about what to expect!

PLEASE NOTE THAT 100% OF LESSON FEES GO DIRECTLY TO THE RESCUE HORSES, WHETHER YOU ARE TAKING A PRIVATE LESSON AT HHF, AT YOUR FACILITY ON YOUR OWN HORSE, OR YOU ARE ENROLLED IN A HORSEMANSHIP CLASS!

LESSON RATES:

Please note (unless you are enrolled in a Horsemanship Class) that riding lessons are only available as PRIVATE or SEMI-PRIVATE (two people max).

Private 1 hour lesson  - $40.00

Semi-Private 1 hour lesson - $50.00 ($25.00 per person)

I do offer a $10.00 per lesson discount to active or retired military personnel and also to sworn law enforcement personnel.

Lesson prices are the same if I travel to your facility; however, if you are more than 10 miles from HHF, there is an additional $10.00 travel fee to cover my gas and additional time.
