Hey dog lovers!!!! An anti-tethering law has been presented to the General Assembly!  House Bill 1254 is now pending legislation!  This is a big victory for all those poor dogs that are left outside 24/7.

Hideaway Hill Farm
Horse and Animal Sanctuary, Inc.

Welcome to our site!  We are located in the beautiful and scenic Lehigh Valley of Pennsylvania.  Hideaway Hill Farm was established in December 2005 and became Hideaway Hill Farm Horse and Animal Sanctuary, Inc. in May of 2008.  We are a privately owned horse and animal rescue, as well as an equine training facility....the natural way.

We are a small non-profit horse and animal rescue under the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.   Our 501 (c) (3) application is currently pending with the IRS, and we hope to have approval very soon!  Donations made while our application is pending are tax deductible as allowable by law (assuming approval is acheived).   Contact us for details!  If you would like to help out the animals in need, you can help out by donating, shopping online (see below) for great logo wear and other great items, adopting one of our horses or ponies, or visiting us at one of our events!
We are approved as a member of the "Unwanted Horse Coalition" of the American Horse Council!  For more information about this great effort to provide resources for horses in need, click here.

The mission of the Unwanted Horse Coalition is "to reduce the number of unwanted horses and to improve their welfare through education and the efforts of organizations committed to the health, safety, and responsible care and disposition of these horses."

Our Mission is to provide sanctuary, rehabilitation, and care to horses and animals that are abused, neglected, or unwanted and to seek suitable homes for those that are adoptable.  We believe that education is the key to successful horse ownership and we provide that service to new horse owners so that ignorance does not result in the neglect or abuse of other horses.  We rescue horses that are in need for a variety of reasons....some are slaughterbound for the purpose of feeding European diners in high-end restaurants.  These horses are useful either as companions, trail, pleasure, or show horses.  We rehabilitate and care for these horses and ponies and offer them through adoption to suitable homes.   For information about horse slaughter, click here.
